入学してから２週間

寒い！とにかく寒いです！！4月なのに…。
異常気象、怖い！

さて、IDECに来て、約2週間が経ちました。
毎日毎日、あの手続き、この手続き。
そろそろ終わってもいいんじゃないかなぁ。
早く駐車場の許可証欲しいな。

大分生活に慣れては来たけど、
まだ何だかんだと足りてない物とかがあって、不便です。
包丁を入手したのも、実は２〜３日前。
それまでは、千切れる物とか、とにかく切る必要のない物しか食べられなかったのですが、ようやく人参が食べられるようになりました。

研究室の人たちにも慣れて来ました。
だけどまだ正体は知りません。
だから、油断は禁物なのかも。。

HANAMI

7th April 2007, it was the day of Hanami in Kagamiyama koen.
For couple of days senseis are discussing about the date and I was a bit curious for that.
Although it is second time for me but I could not help refraining me to participate there.
At last, Saturday was fixed with little anxiety regarding the weather.
Weather forecasting was about the day long cloud on Saturday, 7th April.



Anyway we did it.
We, the students along with some teachers (of course, with their initiation and all out cooperation) of Education Division of IDEC of Hiroshima University; gathered Kagamiyama koen at about 11 a.m.
By the way, before that we have to buy foods and drinks. Some of the students and teacher cooked their country food and brought to take together.
With the participation of students from various countries like Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, Ghana and of course Japan the ceremony gets real international flavor.



Party starts with self introduction and goes on with tidbits; kidding and having various foods and drinks.
And also watch the fall of pink and white purples of Cherry-blossom.
An important part of this party was to take photographs.
Although there was an official group photo session demo amateur but hobbyist photographers took lots of picture even Inu toe Isshoni.
Yes, some visitors were doing sampo with their pets and we have lots of fun with the pets also.
As time passed on, sun also bent to west for set and it was getting little chill that was the signal for end of the party.
So we again started to wrap up and cleared the gomi. At about 4 by the announcement of mentor Uchida we had to end the party.
Nonetheless, that was not the actual ending of the enjoyment.
We climbed up the mountain to see the relics of ancient emperor of this locality and watch the mountain view of Higashihiroshima.
It was lots of fun and never forgetting enjoyment for me because it is second time Hanami may be last time as well

記念すべき第一号

本日2007年4月6日から馬場研究室では研究室日記を書くことにしました。
調子が良ければ毎週誰かが日記をかき、後から振り返って
「あ〜〜このときはこんなことをしていたんだな〜。こんなことを感じていたんだな〜」
と知ることで、私たちの成長過程を追うことができればと思います。

さて、先日二人の新入生が馬場研究室に入ってきました。
松永さんと山田さんです。
松永さんはケニアの、山田さんはザンビアの元青年海外協力隊員です。
これで馬場研究室の日本人全員現隊員または元隊員になりました。

これからお二人が入ったことでもっともっと楽しく明るくにぎやかな研究室になることでしょう。
