My first impression

When I came in IDEC, last April 2017, I was surprised with good welcome where we meet with Baba Sensei and my colleagues. That showed to me a good team work.

Related to first presentation, I learnt many things because it was my first time where I got how can I do a research deeply. Before presentation my ideas focused to external factors which can affect the students’ mathematics performance, after my presentation I changed my orientation to student ability.

Before coming in IDEC /Hiroshima, I was a Mathematics Subject Specialist in Rwanda Education Board since 2007.
I want to analyze the mathematics' performance and affecting factors of secondary students in Rwanda
My target for this research, I want to find out the real problem in this area and to contribute with my efforts for improving the quality of education in Rwanda and in the World.
