Study on Teaching Strategies and Pupils’ Cognitive Skill in Primary Mathematics in Niger State, Nigeria

I am Fatima Jella Sulaiman (Manu) by name. I am from Nigeria a master’s student year one under the supervision of Baba sensei (Professor Baba TAKUYA). Baba’s lab is International lab comprises student from in and outside Japan with spirit of assisting where necessary and cooperation.
My area of interest is teaching strategies, cognitive skill of pupils, and mathematics. The purpose of my research is to find the characteristics of strategies employed by mathematics teachers and pupils’ cognitive skill in primary level, and find out what strategies are generally used in teaching and learning of mathematics and, how the strategies employed by the teacher affect pupils’ cognitive skill.
